About Me​

​Hello and welcome to Arty Artisans! 

​

I'm Kim (Mrs Hutchinson) the creative behind Arty Artisans. 

 

I am a mum of three and qualified art & design teacher.

​

I started this journey to share my passion for art & design with others and strive to make art accessible for everyone.

 

I believe in fostering a relaxed and nurturing environment where my students can grow in confidence and creativity, all while exploring their own artistic interests.

​

I am a dedicated art educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE in Art and Design from the Institute Education in London, complemented by a BA (Honours) Degree in Spatial Design from the University of Falmouth with extensive experience as a Head of Art & Design, have honed my skills in teaching and learning leadership, art examinations, and my solid knowledge of various exam boards, including Edexcel, BTEC, AQA, OCR, and IGCSE, ensures that I provide comprehensive support to my students as a private tutor and adviser.

I have been a Teacher of 

Art & Design for over 15 years.

​

My Qualifications:​

PGCE in Art & Design from the Institute of Education in London (IOE).​

 BA (honours) Degree in Spatial Design from the University of Falmouth​

 Diploma in 3D Art & Design and a National Diploma in Art & Design from Richmond Upon Thames College (RUTC)
